edit: sweet i see you've uploaded them at link as well, so... i'ma start now I'm up for renewal on the hosting for that, but not so sure we're going to have a lot of success having multiple sites around for the same purpose. Perhaps we should talk about this, but then I'm starting to feel like we three are the only ones who care.
I invited a friend who's new to electronic music to the mixit. Making the mixit more accessible and promoting it are important to higher participation rates.
If you don't want to renew you-mix.com, that is up to you, and I don't think anyone would hold it against you. On the other hand, it's a valuable resource! It's jam packed with samples and songs and discussion. My personal suggestion is to keep trying. If you decide to take her down, please try to preserve the content somehow. I would love to keep it running, but when it's you and me and Leo and nobody else, it kinda bums me out. ;)

what am i dead fish? =P ... upped some smapples. i would only say having a central point of contact rather than several will work out better in the long term. but whatever it is, it is something - always much much better than no-mixit place

My hosting provider auto-renewed over the weekend, much to my irritation, so the Mixit hosting is paid for the next two years, again.
Are we going to make it work? Maybe some cooperation amongst the three or so of us who care. Having three different Mixit sites spring up for Mixit 102 just made a mess, I think. wow mullet you messed up. months ago i created a google site for you to use. nothing was being taken away from you dude.
all you have to do is incorporate my work. i even added you to the google site, and the blog, and probably other stuff too so you'd be included, involved and welcomed. i made many efforts, including replacing the forum on mixit.quakemaine.com with a link to your shit phpbb site. fuck off. edit: motherfucking grammer. Everamzah apparently misinterpreted my attempts to try to get us all on the same page.
I've had it with putting effort into this trying to keep Mixits alive and getting no participation from anyone but a few core people, one of whom now thinks I'm the biggest dick on the planet just because I was trying to unify our efforts. I didn't have much time to spend looking at what you put up, because I've been rather busy with work over the last two months and have had little time to spend on much of anything. Now we've got a big high school drama going on here over it. I'm about ready to throw in the towel, get a refund on my hosting and just tank the site, it's not worth it. Also, thanks for airing your shit here instead of just replying to the e-mail I sent asking you guys for your thoughts on things, which might have been a better way for us to talk this through.
