--> CelibacyClub suggested I follow up my blog with some audio so, as promised, I had a bath, and feeling all nice and clean I spent today making this. It's just the Casio VL-1 with a bit of distortion and compression from a sony hrmp5 and a bit of audio juggling in DP4.5. The kick that comes in half way through is the unit being turned off.

Probably best to download cos filelodge is slow.

Good stuff, tooth!

Ace stuff!

Errrrrrr, ok maybe I am missing something. Where is the link to the tune? :o

holy shit....too good.

this is awesome!!! I love doing this stuff. I never record it though.

the way this kicks off is just amazing.

awesome as ferk!

having sat in front of an nes more hours than i have seen daylight, i have a soft spot for this kind of stuff. great energy to it.. has that purposeful last stage kind of music.

things i really like about it:

the fast lick..
the motion of the harmonies in the second part.

great sir.
oh yes, yes.

this is so fucking badass!@

Blockhead, you need to click the triangle on the player which will link to the url.

Wow, thanks guys! I had a blast making this. The rhythm is "rock 2" btw. Could be produced a bit better, I'm not used to mastering audio mixes through outboard and there's a slight chorus happening. I mixed the dry audio with the return , medium panning them and it doesn't sound as good as the original mix.

well the mix is at least very clear. i can hear everything that's going on. to me that's very important.

The original (ie the audio tracks in dp4.5 mixed through the compressor before any stereo imaging) sounds clearer, with more punch, detail and consequently more better. I'm gonna master a better mix tomorrow and slap a link up here to the mp3.

Well, still I don't see a triangle or a player. But I see there is a link now. yay! So I was able to download it and give it a listen. This makes me want to dig my casio out again. It's just so difficult for me to get that thing in tune.

good stuff

pretty energizinyg,that song pwns!
