--> recently started making detroit influenced techno on the side... heavily influenced by drexciya and their later projects! the track is all arturia and my tr-606 - sequenced in ableton.

it's far from being experimental but the project is fun. I'd like to get some comments on the structure, i'm a bit lost at the end of the track and so on!

hey dataplex.
IMHO the chord progression is experimental and the
overall sound is moroder detroit to my ears.
cools! love the middle parts.
the changes / transpositions are very.... dissonant.
i like it. the slow down is a good hook,
but I think the song should not stop there,
but keep going and change more warped chords!

thanks! actually i just realized that isn't my 606, it's a moog modular percussion sample.....!

yeah maybe i will make it longer, i guess i got weared out there in the end, the tempo change is kinda cheap maybe....

Compared to the track before this...this one makes me feel like I'm being chased by angry robots...or just being chased.

and yeah, it could be longer...I liked this for sure, but I wanted it to expand to crazy fight scene.

a criticism is that the main arp could thrust into some big melody, and take a back seat while that happens. the little sound design swirl at the end is cool.

cool, yeah, I dig those little swirlies. I'm not too familiar with detroit, I understand it's pretty minimal, but I would loved it there was another element or something to add some interest.
