ok, so i had to sing on this one as a request from the person who is doing the comp. i think it's pretty much done, what do you think?
i used to be able to sing, i don't know what happened. oh well.
this broke my non-religious christmas rule. oh well this song is fun cause of the oh-oh.  my mic is total crap for vocals ( a clip on mic that came with a walkman many, many, many years ago), that's what all the noise around the vocals is. also, the last verse and chorus are more sparse cause i need to record more for overdubbing. and yes, they are low in the mix on purpose.
**** i uploaded a new version with a few tweaks and the last part with all the "voices". and i turned up the vocals a bit. just a bit. **** you might need to clear your cache, i had to. the way to tell is if the deeper voice sings the last verse and chorus. | |

hahaha, it is a bit scary i guess, i chose the creepiest religious hymn i could think of on purpose and originally the voices were all normal but a) i was too shy about my voice and b) i wanted it to be weirder. i just recorded my self singing it 4 times and thn pitch shifted 3 of those takes. i decided it should try to sound like when you are in church and some people just can't sing in key. except i guess i exaggerated a bit more.the version without vocals is way less creepy, but also more boring.
i can still hear me in there too cousin. lame.
squeal wins the nerd ref contest- the pic is from the hobbit.
and what was the pic mlbot, now i only see garfield.
