I really like this song a lot!
i'm not so hot on the panning in the beginning, on headphones it feels off. I think also the way you introduce the chords needs work. i think a brief silence before they come in would alert the listener that somn's about to happen, or you could do a ~granular~ fade in (little bits coming in and out)
I like the tension between metric and non-metric rhythms a lot, but sometimes it feels a little chaotic to me. I like that, but it's tense, i think it could be toned down some. I think also that some of the synth noodling doesn't work. occasionally there's a sound that sounds too noodly and not textural enough, (at 2:25, would be the main offender) - gotta keep attention to the details.
the chords you put in there are really nice, they don't de-emphasize the textures but they wok as harmony.
The end is abrupt, i htink this song wants to be a lot longer like 10-15 minutes. I think you could stretch the beginning out a lot, get minimal with your focus, approach each sound as a whole, really make the listener hear it completely, if you know what i mean. i really like the way you've built this track up. the structure works well for me, but i think you could draw out some of the different sections and tighten some of the transitions.
Great stuff, really engaging, lots and lots of activity. I really like it.
PS, judging by the way this sounds (and your handle) i'm guessing that you're familiar with ryoji ikeda, and his album dataplex. if not go check it out, cuz it seems like it ought to be up your alley.

thank you flies
what synth parts exactly don't work for you? noodly? haha! i personally think the one at 2:25 works okay.
what about the drum samples? I think they annoy me the most as they sometimes sound abit cheap? - thanks for the great feedback, it really helps.
and p.s i love most raster noton stuff

the synth parts mostly work. occasional details stick out.
the cheap drum samples work really well. they add a rhytmic/beat quality w/out taking focus away from the synths.

I like this a lot.
Some of the stuff that's been called 'noodly' - I think I know which parts you mean - I would like to hear them fall back a bit in the mix, like they're writhing off in the distance a bit more, not vying for your attention.
Also, the end bit, after most of the drums have dropped out, still has a little too much tension left in it for me. Not that I need it to be completely resolved, but it just seems to end for ending's sake, rather than concluding. Just an observation, not necessarily a criticism.
