i'd squeeze some more use out of resampling. the dubby fill sounds like a dubby fill, not as much like a structural part of the piece as it might be in Ć.

maybe not just slather the reverb over top of everything, but shape it a little bit.

resample, let it play for 2-4 bars, tweak, resample again, etc. maybe have that be a basic shape. have the reverb get mangled with the resampling.

It sounds too 'the same' throughout for my tastes.
Don't be sorry for not sounding exactly (anything?) like someone else - we need more you, not more them.
I like the dubby fills OK, but they repeat too much, like it's a fetish or something.
Sounds like only a partial understanding of reggae - like the disney version of it.
