I like this. The pure tones in the beginning are nice and intimate. The dark noise bursts are beautiful (probably from field recordings that you mentioned)
The center section as it defines that big minor 7 add 9 is pretty wicked too.and then it resolves up to the minor third. Wicked. OOH! AND THEN THE NOISE glitchy sounds. Very nice pacing.
