this has some god breaks/cuts/gates. i like the vocoder-like things here and there a lot. the sonar/submarine beacon sound is cools. There is a edge of happy on it, and the overall sound is great - mix is sitting nicely all around. Not linear. good things, all.
But, there's this metallic soundig male voice occasionally - maybe its me but it doesn't quite fit? maybe i'm still hearing things...the latter is probably it.

Very much diggin this. The bassy kinda synthline/loop could use a bit more volume. It sounded cool as hell but I had to really try to hear it good. Really well done drums.

cool sounds.. needs a better mix.

sounds very one-dimentional.

bigger more dynamic bottoms please

It sounds rad in good headphones. Probably just need to mix it on speakers too. Funky riddims.

thanks for the comments guys - i really value everyone's feedback. just found EM411 and am looking forward to spending some serious time here.

I like the composition, but agree with others - needs mixing. It doesn't feel like there's any space, and the elements seem to crowd each other.
Too bad cause I really like the elements and the way they're put together.

i'd agree with jdg, mixwise it's a touch flat, but the composition is neat. could use a couple notes of a soaring melody (not a loop) to guide the form.
