This is a remix I just submitted to the My Life in the Bush of Ghosts site, which is a pretty hip web-community that's been set up to accompany the reissue of Brian Eno and David Byrne's classic 1981 album.
I remixed "Help Me Somebody", using only the original source material. It's not my best work, but I think it's pretty effective as a remix. And it's doing pretty well on the site's charts: as of today it's #13 on the public top 20 and #6 on the moderator list!
I certainly enjoyed working on it. And it's a super impressive thought, for me, that my childhood hero Mr. Byrne might actually hear it! I loooooved the Talking Heads when I was a baby...
ANYWAY! Comments are appreciated! Be tough on me!

I really enjoyed this a lot, but I'm not familiar with the original track. I really need to pick up that album.

This is soooo good kev, i loved it when you sent it to me. The percussion is so crisp, and the bass guitar sounds just right!

im a fan of the jungle jumble funtime beat... the upbeat BLIP i thought was too loud in the mix. I liked how the more ambient textures offset the groovy / often repeated section (which is a good thing because it was nice, got a few head nods outta me) subtleties are nice in this... take all this with the understanding im listening on the stock g5 speaker...
thats an attempt at being tough.
but you should know I quite like it

Fantastic track!
Ccongrats on being #13 (and #6) ... very good way to get "discovered".
I can't see why this wouldn't make the remix album... it's great.

@ tbeals... The bleeps are indeed too loud. It's out of my hands now.
@Adcbike...There's a remix album?! No way.
