reminds me of cbit vs astroid or something,

interesting,

though for me, borders on being too random sounding.

drum/rhythm sounds are fucking perfect though

^^^
that's goddamn flattering.

i like how tuneful it is. the mix lacks that cbit pump. i want that harmo-melody at the top to deafen sometimes. OH GOD I SHAT EM when the big happy came back.

ok, me thinks it needs one more technique, some handbroken beat samples (like something made in another session and then conformed) over top with the custom crunch edit. maybe just a hithat part, maybe a ride part.

yes solid. one or two more big happies of various constitution. something very sentient, deliberate.

also, you could send it right back to the top a couple more times, that part is singable as hell.

another thought. i would dodge editing the pads on a fader, maybe something where you control the volume of the part semi-algo style dependant on the kick. like sidechin but made the funky.

ilkae!

fuck man

this gets better the more i listen to it.

actually my only advice is, take your name off it, send it to me and pretend i did it.

form should be a concern for the next edit, for sure. maybe it's not, but it sounds a bit ABCD... through-written, and i want some recurrances. yeah man, turn it into a bit of a pop song, and then use that for the final spasmodic appraoch.

oh boy can't wait to listen when i get home.....

"These beats are too intricate for crabpeople, only cbitian overlords are so precise."

it has a real light texture which, while not particularly my bag, has a very appealling quality to it. Like a precision tippy-toe feel, and that detunedness atmos is quite cool.

nice

I suppose in my comment I didn't really clearly express that I like the song, so...

I like it.

BTW

I totally second

ilkae!
This song is sweet Cbit.

its so dynamic,

and im kinda starting to "get" the little melodic chops .. its cool how they kinda work together to make something more.

u are transending the idm cliches

i liked this a lot!

my 2 cents are:
i think in HF in the drums could come down a touch
the strings sound a little repressed at times

apart from that - bloody brilliant!

the A part?

this is all useful stuff, thank guys!

(astroid's stuff reminded me that its ok to use tons of notes sometimes. theres def a link there )

great one. need proper speakers but sounds great anyway..

amazing as always cbit. I love mormo stuff... Which reminds me, I must listen to your mouthful of barks disc again soon.
