I made this one maybe 6 yrs ago. I used an RX5 drum machine to sequence samples on an SU700. I had so many beats programmed into the drum machine that I had to erase them when I was done so I could make more stuff. I really like computers now. I also sampled a lot of stuff off of a jazz legends tape that I had. The samples reminded me of stuff I had sampled from the weather channel.

The delay swoosh is a little out of time, i dont know if u ment that or not, but its really throwing off the groove of the breaks which are juicy and elegant.
The horns are a little wimpy, but i like the falling piano line, very nice :-D
This beat sounds sweet. The reverberated ding riff towards the end sounds superb in the mix. I agree with Geddupnoise about the delay though. Clean or get rid of it and I'm a big fan of this piece.
nice one. The jazz riff could be funkier i guess, but i love that stuff and that beat. the next song is ace too!
Thanks for the comments. I really can't even work on this track anymore as I haven't had an SU700 for several years and no longer have the drum machine sequences, but I wish I could. I really appreciate computers now.
Wicked shit man...this is making my head go mad (in a good way). Kind erratic, but I think that's the point. The beats are the best...I wanna hear more harmonic build, but don't listen to me.
wacky. funky for definite. like the breaks. i want you old drum sequences too. mutant beats r my favorite...
throughly entertaining. oh, the second half - sounds like harmonic(or not?) counter-melodies are for cartoons!
awe.some.
