Small dubstep remix for a friend. Original here: link
I had a time putting this together and making this groove, and have been twiddling with it for over 2 weeks, but I think finally I got there. It's not really a finished version, but I can't think of any good things now and would like to get some comments and advice. I did this on my hifi, and it soudns a bit strange going back to the headphones, a bit claustrophobic, but I like it actually. And that bass is massive, but I think it's alright.
One of the last things I did, but which I feel pulled the track together was adding that melancholy pad.

So I finally find out what dubstep is. I like that filtered bass a lot! I like it all. I also like this:
Toast, then avacado, then celery, then crinkle cut gherkins, then meatball semispheres, then brie, then harissa paste. Under the grill for a few minutes.....it's all I've been eating for 2 days!

Rhythm is ill, diggin it, snare could do some work, but it's a matter of opinion i guess. Vocal sampls don't work for me at all especially when "pingpong delayed", also not too hots for the pad sound.
Lower bass squelchs is nice.

not that bad, but the snare is not perfect, too loud and misses some highs and some faster breaks. The beat works much better when the tambourin is in. Vocals (that is quite important in this song that got a message, too) are to background. But it's OK in summary, much better than the original "lauti"-Version

sounds cool to me.
but wasn't that fond of the snare. i felt it was a little too loud and static. mabye some cutoff modulations or a little bit of changing reverb or a combination of both.
but still fun.
cool

nutrition advice from tooth. that's awesome! lol.
wow. i think after like 30 listens (loves the song much)
about snares and yelling guy: think they may be a bit loud in the mix...
i dunno why, but sometimes i have to listen to things a lot before i hear certain elements.
probably cuz i'm just real wrapped up in the "How did he DO that?!?!" phase at first. cheers!
