--> Hey doods - so in the spirit of posting every half-baked musical i might be involved with on this website, here's cedar av rehearsal last night! (We're playing on Friday: link ) Everything was recorded direct into max/msp, so there are some things missing - you can hear nick's guitar and various sundries, and nate's keyboard because both were going into my lappy so i could sample em. I forgot to patch my bass module into the recorder tho, so there are def some bass missing moments. I also couldn't see the levels most of the time for nick and nate, unless i was recording them at the moment into my patch, so there's a lot of distortion, look out! I'm making this seem totally worth listening to! Missing and missed: vocals, melodica, shaker. They're especially missed during the parts that are guitar/vocals/bass/shaker only...

Setlist:

search party (parts 1 & 2)
jam
(we get restless miniature)

running time: 26:18

i'm most proud of the jam, search party doesn't really come through without vocals and melodica...

the actual set list will be:

search party (parts 1 & 2)
jam
(we get restless miniature)
lullaby

running time: 35-40~ minutes

Happy Wednesday!

wow dude this is rad. i wanna hear this with all the elements in for sure. really, really dope.

man oh man... this is amazing. When are you going make an album of this stuff?

I'm blown away.

thanks so much guys!!

adcbike: we're workin on it! we're actually way close now, we need to get somewhere to record vocals and guitars for a bunch of songs, but most stuff is laid out and produced... it's probably going to be like 6 tracks though, lol, so most is 4 or so - we make long songs...

Long songs are great for this download-per-song-digital-world. Totally looking forward to it.

beautiful! (hopefuly next time you'll have a better recording!)

This is great...definitely awesome you guys managed to pull this off live at such a high level.

as usual, incredible work!!!

wickedy wick!!!! had a great listening time. thanks! If I could change it in any way, I would've liked some more full on (but slow release) swells in the sound. kinda like the necks do. in the first part it started to do that and actually made me think of the necks, which is a huge compliment...BIG UP!

thanks so much everyone! off to practice again now, show's tonight! we're recording, so hopefully that will turn out better than this!
