this was from last night's drunken orgy of a quixit. every1's was so great. i used linux, seq24, specimen, kluppe, snd, and ardour2. the samples are unedited, except where i chopped them in snd. then i put the drums in one instance of specimen, and the flute and air pad in another. then i sequenced an 8 bar drum loop, then a brief flute and pad melody that gets repeated (8 bars, kinda holds the song together). and then for 6 and a half minutes i tweak out on it. i really enjoyed the quixit this time, a lot, and am quite pleased with my result... and everyone else's too - they live here: link

oops it's at 48000 i wonder if everyone else heard this slow version HAHAHA
edit: ok, uploaded a resampled version @ 44.1 khz... and up'd the bitrate to 160, too. (so now it's like 8 mbs LOL)

else: i uploaded the individual session files (in flac format) to the internet archive here: archive.org/details/everamzah-to_my_ear. drums, flute+pad, vox_tweak-out. (that's fivesteppath's vox btw)
so i'm getting more organized with my projects and session files these days. now this seems to make a difference in whether or not i find it worthwhile to go back and rework previous stuffs.
