This is a live sound I made with my drum machines and sythesizor hardwares. I think it is spacious and finds emotions that don't belong. it is the steamshovel digging into rocks with diamonds.

shit, posting songs at 2am is tough some times...
OH YES, credit is due... That picture was taken by my best best friend. He is a 3D lighter and texturizer, so I kinda messed the picture up with the colors and all, and cropping.
the picture fit because i have to walk through that place every day against my will, and lots of days i feel sound stack.

I find this song very appealing. But the production definately sounds too chained to the early nineties. One easy change you could make would be to swap some of the drum kit sounds out with recorded and/or synthesized percussive sounds.

Thanks Nicknotis, the sound you hear is actually the sound of the early ninties, it is a Dr. Groove and an ER1 for the drums. I usually try to mask it as best I can, but lately I just work with it cause thats their beauty. I did this as a live mix, this is the equiptment... some stuff updated since photo.

usually, i dont like hard panned reverb, but it seems to fit somehow in this track.and the drums are cheese but i dont mind, you're right, its the beauty of the machines. could use about 20 more pounds of distortion tho.

Yup, distortion is something I love messing with live, but now that my effect processor bit the dust, I have been using the reverb off the sp303, leaving me empty handed as far as distortion goes. I don't like hard panned anything usually, but I was jamming it out on my fatty system and it sounded nicer that way, as far as the live aspect.
Petronas, what are you actually asking or meaning?
