Clear, well spaced.
Drums are sweet. Really adds to the fullness of the track

I like the slight out-of-tune-ness of the flutes. Very cool.

It is nice, refreshing. Did you trigger the drums live? I like.

i managed the part mutes, levels, chord changes and some other stuff live. i don't manage the individual hits, just the abstract elements of the song.
the flutes bend in and out of tune, like a real flute (because it is me playing a real flute). the whole song was pretty much written around that flute drone. i had no idea what i was looking for when i recorded the flute samples, but i was psyched when it just started wailing like that. its almost abrasive, but stays just on the border.
i'm still not in love with the drums, some of the accents worked out well though.
also i think some of you might have heard the wrong song, for about the first 12 hours another song was playing.
thanks for the comments!

Very lovely track, your melodies and the flow of all the samples is incredible!
One thing I think needs work is the drums - they just... sounded a little flat. I was expecting some crescendo of loud dynamic drums, too decayed I guess. Maybe some reverb on them?
Was this written on a tracker?

its all live on a 900mhz tablet pc, so there's not much cpu left for effects.

I too have discovered live music in the electronic arena. Although the end result often doesn't have the shiny polish of a planned song it is a much more rewarding process, and the output is often more characteristic of the artist.
