i love this...i was sitting here listening, waiting for the percussion to just start pounding...and i'm glad it didn't. even though i would have still enjoyed it if it had. the best part for me was not getting what i thought i would. top notch in my book.

oh and i forgot to mention that it would be great for a movie soundtrack.

fucking awesome picture!

Hi,
Thanks for the comments. Polyoddity, I've almost never had drums in my music at all, so the fact that they are there are all makes them seem pounding to me. And I'm glad you found that interesting.
Energygiant, that picture was taken by my girlfriend. I think it was a long exposure of lights relecting off the river just after a boat went by, for the ripples. Something like that.

I like the near non use of drums. It alows for the space of the melody and the bass to play out.
Like the subtle precussion thing in the background. Like that alot. Non intrusive, just enough
For the progression of the track.
Im really diggin this one.

i love the fact that 80% of this is Reason, but it dosen't have that Reason sound. very nice.

and it's missing nothing.

Thanks again!
I never quite understood "that Reason sound" because it sounds like I want it to. And actually I used the original distortion that everyone loves to hate in this track.
By they way, my other release was about 90% Reason, I don't know if that sounds like Reason or not.
