Not trash.This is spaced and mixed quite well. I like how the melody involves itself with the precusion.
Needz a sub of some sort, definitely more low end sounds. Bass, although Im not sure how you'd incorporate it in the track.
But its not trash my friend.

I find that it helps to move on to something else. The time apart will give you the ability to come back to the track with a critical ear. And in the meantime you'll be productive. I like starting a bunch of tracks and then coming back to them one by one, adding and layering until you finish them all at roughly the same time.

I agree with both posts above.
Perhaps a long decay on the bass kick that drops down into the 50 to 20 hz range would be nice.

Yeah, if you're not sure where to go with it, give it time. I've always got about 5 unfinished tracks on the go, and as long as you check back in every now and then and give them a listen, you'll eventually get an idea of what to do with them. I think your unconscious needs time to process, and you can't hurry that creepy bastard.
