--> Had a bit of fun banging out this one with a new technique. Been following this dude stray who's like the Orson Welles of the PadKontrol. In particular, I adapted his idea of the Chopper, which is to make a scene set particularly for slicing samples -

Did that on a drum loop. However, you run into problems mixing as all your sounds are on one track.

this is sassy. and nuts. i like your trying out new toys. its fun. glad i heard it. funky wacked

nice blend of synth sounds with the samples...i love the pressure of the buildup...your drumbeats very dramatic as well...nice work...the chopping is pretty rad, it works man.
Recent blogs: i have arrived...

Sweet. That bass kick sounds huge with the bass synth.

Thanks y'all! Yeah, the big advantage of that slicing technique is the speed... you can chop up a sample and lay down the part in minutes, without touching a mouse. Whereas normally all the slicing I do requires lots of mousing around in recycle or whatnot. But I think I had this whole song banged out in one night.

I like the drums and the flute. Nice work. Thanks.

wow, i really likes the flute, really sounds right in song and the melody is really happy and sweet.
i have a soft spot for heavly chopped stuff and i loved the drums. Nice track.

excellent. the flute and strings were just great. thanks
