Don't be silly, Jackie don't speak French.
Some great sounds here (like the 'wind-up toy in a glass', and the plucky and thumped-gongish sounds witht their decays) and the space and eerieness in the intro is great. The film part doesn't really work for me, but then it's from a liveset so I'll go easy :-)

ok... Jackie doesn't speak french actually. But the fact that characters speak french makes the track kind of kitsch... well at least for me as I speak french.

:-) je ne coissant pas le french language but I love a good vin rouged-up french accent
I think the wham/pow sound effects need to sound less 'triggered' somehow I guess. It's all about the eerie tension building intro with this track for me.
