--> Hey! It's been a while. Here's a new song. No vocals, for once, but lots and lots of craziness. For some reason I very rarely mix my piano playing and my electronic music, but I think it's something I'm going to have to do more of.

I seriously love everything you do. I really like the piano on this track... I could seeing it eq'd to be just a little twangier to sit with the banjo part/banjo feel, but maybe not. I think the bridge with the thickly layered sound is really nice.....oh shit! the stutters right after the bridge kill me!

thanks a lot mechp! I had trouble EQing the piano, mostly because it was such a terrible piano...Plus I've learned that it's really hard mixing a piano into such a busy song, since pianos cover such a vast frequency range. I'm going to try and do more songs like this to get used to it. Glad you like it, though!

BEST SONG UP!

I love it man. I like the in your face mix and the business you talk of is very true. I dance my ass off to this, but a little louder low and high end on the beat would make me feel like I'm dancing like a pro.

ps, didn't enjoy the weird mix up in the middle right before the break down, but the break down was fantastic!

fun and interesting, piano is great, I agree it feels almost out of control at times but just hangs in there...really well done.

There is nothing I love more than the sound of a slightly jangly piano- if this was my piano i'd be in there jangly-ing things up a bunch. Screw all this perfectly tune grand piano stuff- they all sound like samples to me now. I know its a really physical, enormous instrument when I hear idiosyncrasies of micing and tuning.
I Absolutely love this song, but I usually like everything you do.
(Disclaimer: I have attempted to get populus to work with me several times to no avail.)
