About me
I am sqrt(ur mother), pronounce square root of your mother, spelled in C++. I chill in Chapel Thrill NC, and keep my hands dirty with the Broken Fader Cartel. I like beats that make heads bob and noises that make nightmares happen to pretty girls while they sleep. I enjoy long walks, bad, mid 90's rap, and putting microphones in front of speakers. I have always been fascinated with the creation of ambient music and soundscapes. I am a drummer by musical birth, so I piece together the scattered musical interested into a computer contrived art form that is sqrt. I like pretty abstract paintings and cute fat cats that purr when you pet them on the head.
My Gear
I use an Roland SPD-6, Oxygen 8, a joystick as a midi controller, random VST plugs and i's, various VST hosts, a distortion pedal, a wah, a homemade fuzz box, a computer, a Soundcraft M12 mixer, some mics, a basket full of random small percussion/wind/string instruments, a sitar, a djembe, a mouse, a broken sampler in my brain that repeats parts of adult top 40 tunes in endless succession, and a heart of love.
