Whoa, that link isn't working right...

link

worked ok for me... it takes a while sometimes for it to come up right in the player, dont know whats up there.

Song- cool stuff, seems like you put a lot of work into this. I think the mix was better than your other song. Any chance you are going to get a rapper/vocals?

I love the choppy melodic stuff and the melodramatic orchestra stuff.

This would make David Hasselhoff proud.

Did you sample some TV show themesongs and Recycle! them or something?

mlbot - yeah. It's just one sample, a 60s Brazilian pop song. I love that shit. Then I went nuts with the MIDI triggering in Dr. Rex - something I hadn't tried before, and it's loads of good times seeing if you can squeeze new sounds out of the sample by mixing up the slices.

LogicFray - I'd love some rappers for sure. I'm doing at least one collab in that vein, but I don't know too many other rappers really... I do want to keep releasing instrumental stuff since I find it an interesting challenge, maintaining interest over the course of a song without any lyric content etc. I also want to do some field recordings and start incorporating that into my tracks (but I have to buy a mic first).

Thanks for the feedback y'all.

fucking rad. i lov eit!

i think it sounds fine without a vocal, love the agrssive choppy stuff and it gives away to the noodely geeky sounds towards the end. oh im listening to it again. very nice.

ha, awesome one. i love the cuts in the "verse".
but i think the mix is somewhat muddy.

when I think of Plisskin, I totally think "Brazillian"

"Escape From Rio" starring Kurt Russell and David Hasselhoff..

Maybe Antonio Carlos Jobim as the voice of the talking car.

astroboy - yeah, I'm far from awesome at mixing. Eventually I'll figure it out. I hope. To be truthful I basically skipped EQing except for the drums. Oh and I cut the low end on the samples, but I definitely should rein in the bass a little and a couple of the keyboard parts.

this shit is HOT! HOT! HOT!

scorching.

just awesome.

damn this is tight. it's got a thick sound. great groove and nice sample use

how the F did i miss this? its absolutely wonderful. great choppy ditto mlbots c'ments
