WTF
I haven't been listening to Solvent. Or taking uppers. In fact, I've had a fully crappy couple of weeks with the exception of The Simpsons movie yesterday; I guess this absurdly bouncy business is a coping mechanism? At least it deteriorates into noisy hell by the end, so I don't feel quite so guilty.
The beats are a little weak once it gets cooking, but maybe that's okay? Doesn't need to be ALL HUGE ALL THE TIME! Or, maybe it does, I dunno.

HAHAHAHA holy song shift bartman
This opens up soooo dark and foreboding... and then...
all I can say is this totally needs some Tears for Fears vocals.... so get on it, man.
The kick drum reminds me of Snog, tho. Is it u-tonic? Maybe try replacing it with something less clippy and see how that changes the feel of the track?
And towards the end you gets these wonderful pads going.... but I think they could be bigger, and that section longer , maybe get to it sooner, cuz its the big payoff and there's no reason to skimp on the beauty... thats what makes you NOT SOLVENT.

haha, okay, I'll give Roland Orzabal a call today. I think that kick is microtonic. I like it, but I might de-clip it a little so that it can squeeze into the track instead of dominating as it does right off the bat.

You know what'd be rad, if you could at random, or with the press of a button, switch out some of the clipped kicks with big beefy deep 808 kicks.
Sheesh, I remember doing that in Mastertracks was a cinch, you could set up parameters for stripping and copying data based on rhytmic or pitch grids and paste them to new tracks in a flash.... but in pro tools or Live.... ???

Ah, that's a good idea! Actually, it'd be pretty easy even doing it manually in Pro Stools, I may give that a shot.
Thank you boob lady!

Switch every major third to a minor, then I will be happy that it is sad.
Great freaking track, tho, for reals.

Like the melody and song a lot!
I would like a section where one piece of percussion goes on all 16ths and everything gets all wacko
