--> So, I woke up yesterday to the most beautiful day. I had crashed at my friends place in brooklyn after having a night full of awesome philosophical conversation. I just couldn't stop smiling at the great day.

I took it easy on the way home stopping by virgin mega store and getting an aesop rock album I wanted for a long time. Then I took the train home thinking the day would inspire me on a different song I'm working on, but I just couldn't. This song came out like its been sitting inside me all put together already. I'm not used to that, but I could get used to it, it felt great.

After working on it for 3 hrs, I had to run full speed to catch the train back to go have some home made Korean barbecue that my friend was gonna cook for me. BTW it was so delicious. We met up with some of his friends and went to meet my friend at a small roof top party to benefit a film that the people who where living there had been working on.

Since I was so excited about this song, I think I showed every one I talked to that night just about. In fact I met some other musicians that might want to start a band! And their movie need music, as I hinted to the director I'd love to do some work on it.

SO, thats the story.

great song. great story. Thanks so much for sharing.

totally dood.

yesss great song and stories!

how'd you make it?

yes. good story. hope you get together with the band/film/parties more and more.
great sounds..

This is a sweet one. Great beat to it.
Love the short, simple vocals.
A slamin track

energygiant, I used sound forge and use the bass from "Stakes Go Up" song I did a while ago and use the snare noise from a song even longer ago that. Then in Vegas, I recorded in me singing and then recorded me playing guitar. I didn't use the whole guitar track once I figured out the second quicker bassy thing cause they seemed to bother each other. Just made it sound more like a sample and used it for the cuts thing, which led to alot more cuts. Then I put it all together. Played around with distortion for a bit then knew it was perfect for my track at the end. Then sang the third higher part to make for a better intro to the distorted section. (haha, its cool I could remember it)

Thanks, I love to share.

yesssssssssss...good answer

sounds sick man
i really like the bassline, very groovy and the drums are sequenced really well (not predictable at all)
This is dope. I love it.

p.s. have you heard Madlib's Hello Sunshine song? It's dope too.

no, I haven't heard it. My brother showed me some Madlib stuff before, but I got the Madvillan CD instead, that dope as well.
