1. Click on "sound" to turn it on
2. Write something in the fields or copy and paste from any document.
3. Hit "play"!
4. Note that it only responds to a~z in lower cases.
5. "loop" loops the text in the field (duh)
6. Text won't be reflected in the music until you hit "play" or "enter" over each field.
7. You can drag and drop your own samples over waveform field.(44.1, 16bit stereo)
8. have fun...

oh, one more thing,
9. check edit -> overdrive to stablize the rhythm

That's a pretty cool demo! I like the plodding rhythm.

is great fun

sorry that it's confusing...
i know you're fine now but let me just clarify for the future...

for OSX
you need to download Max/MSP runtime. it's free!
link

to record
go to file->open [recorder.mxf] in the same folder.
hit the red button on [recorder.mxf]

in case of no sound
go to file->open [DSP_Status.mxf] and choose correct sound driver.
you may use this file to use Rewire.

also...
you will find 5 original audio samples that can be used fot txt_2msc.
they're taken from my past work and they're in Public Domain.(i.e. if you find other use for them, no permission is necessary)

enjoy the app...
