I tried to post with one word; "Great". A message comes up that says it's too short a post, and that if I don't have anything useful to say, ...."don't say it". While I appreciate the philosophy behind that, I don't appreciate the delivery! Besides.... it's not enough to give my approval with one word? Brevity is often refreshing, no?

... Lastly, let's look at the phrase: If you don't have anything useful to say, don't say it". Well, let me see.... I f I don't have anything useful to say, how COULD I say it? Furthermore, isn't that unspoken and unrealized utterance of usefulness what you WOULD wish me to give voice to?

Oh...... Oh, dear.
