--> This is a little collab between me an astroid, this is the track he posted in that studio blog of his. he sent me the multitrack files, and i dirtied them up, along with adding new overdubs... i quite like it, quite like it indeed! there is a beet-less version too... i prefer the beated version... so thats what i linked to....

everything on here is at least touched by the modular. i processed almost every track through my modular, using distortions, filters, etc. scott did the bass, drums, kick drum and lead bit. i added the ambience, movie samples and various other tidbits...

oh yes, there's the minus beats file too
I think this alternative version would be as good as the beaty one if the ambient chatter/noise was dimmed down in the background
And actually portions of that quieter mix could be inserted in the beaty one for better dynamics
