--> Track I produced around 2006 with Pure Data, Csound, composed in Ardour, all on a Linux computer. Several fieldrecordings from Norway are processed beyond recognition. First release / presentation was in a gallery. The topic for this soundscape is identity and its exchange. Several recordings like voices, a bell and boat engines from Bergen are morphed into each other.

Sure it is. And lot of convolution. And hetrodyne resynthesis.

I wonder how the elastic audio is implemented in Rolands V-Synth, is it granular timestretching or phase vocoder? I never heard an example revealing the method through artefacts...
