explanation of technique

i use four midi lanes-each one represents one note. each lane is set up with a central pitch (i believe this is E3 in midi). above this pitch is the top note in the ratio, below is the bottom note. another way to think about it is that the bottom note determines the fundamental, and the top note determines which partial.

oh roidy
sweet as a newborn fawn
the :42-1:00 section is my favorite...its the most proper like

nice picture....NOT

i never read the text before listening

guess I hafta go back now and hear the fast punk rock version

Oh wait, I heard the right version the first time. Boo me.

I can't dance to this.

Actually, I'd be curious to hear what it'd be like if you imposed a short ramp pitch drop to every nth note, making that note a bit more percussive than the rest but the same resolving pitch. Then I could dance all mathy.

you can dance, just pretend it's the breakdown part in the middle of 'vogue'

I feel funny... and inspired to make a cartoon of these feelings. I am not really sure which version I like more. I like them both a lot.

this good yeah

Yes, I like to absorb the decay of the sounds as in the slower version

I find these odd tunings combined with these rich sounds fascinating

love this. disturbing. i thank you for your explanation of the technique - unfortunately, i do not understand...i would like to, i just don't.

haha yeah im with you sam....but i figure i dont understand because deep down i truly dont want to.

feels like falling over your own feet the whole time. in a good way

thanks for listening and commenting!

you guys are the best
