By the way, what in hell is the deal with the image uploading for songs? I can chop a jpeg down to well below the listed size limit, and it still won't get accepted. Other times, it takes images well over the limit. For this song, I gave up after getting denied five times.

Can anyone tell me what the actual rules are?

don't know. i never had a problem with that. maybe something off with whatever you're using to resize em? bummer tho. fun to connect a pic with the sound. oh, btw, this track is fuckin awesome.

I've had issues uploading pics too.. bloody nightmare!

Anyway..

This track is simply divine.. excellent use of (which sounds like a recording of a sink!) field sounds.. love the warm pads especially how the pads were manipulated near the end.. I do wish the track continued after that..

A great Post-Techno track I would be proud to add to my collection of music I listen to!

Thanks indoor and fora. Actually, the noise that sounds like a sink started out as me rattling wood gu zheng bridges in the chamber of the the gu zheng. It was an interesting sound by itself, but I couldn't resist filtering it with the EVOC 20 Track Oscillator in Logic. I love the way that filter can be sidechained to other tracks.

that filter is aces. i overlap tracks with and without that often for some added grit. haven't played with side chaining it tho. new games.

top drawer, as ever mr.notis

A great Post-Techno track

I am going to listen to this directly *before* a Mobilee 12" so that, by my own private voodoo, it becomes "pre-techno".

Nice track though nicknotis. I'd have liked a little more dynamics in the arrangement but that is likely just personal taste.

ekstrak, when you say you'd like more dynamics, I assume that means you wish there were more quite and loud parts?

Thanks.

this is lovely. perfect way to start my day. i like it as is. thank you for sharing.

peace

Wow, nice expansion/build into the noisy part...really purty!

This takes me from one point to the next quite gently.
Love how things start happening and happening until that really trippy kind of wash over part.
That part is super sweet. Very well manipulated. I wanted more, but hey thats ok.
Very sweet track.

Kinda wanders but I enjoyed the undulating, reversing sounds in the first half. The unexpected ending works well!
