Ha! Take this you old music posting fogies!
1992, recorded from an alphajuno and a Roland D5 sequenced on a c64, salvaged from a thrashed demo tape we released as Thine Eyes in 1992 / 3.
I am deeply proud / ashamed.

Ha! It does stink of DM, doesn't it. Psyingo, which smaple is a DM sound? Also, I'm just remembering that the bass patch on the alphajuno was even called something like "DM Bass" so I suppose I had a certain sound in mind...
The reverse--I slapped it in because I'd accidentally recorded over the master.

My first thought from the title was "SUSPIRIA" from the horrible italian horror movie theme.
And if this is salvaged from a demo tape, thats one fine sounding tape.
I like this a lot, its got a lot of punch and percussive impact- its very depeche mode, but the depeche mode thats my favorite.
Whats that on the strings?

oh man delta, you called Suspiria horrible, we're gunna have to have words about this when you're next in PDX! Yeah, the title was a sendup of some friends who played in a horrible local industrial band called "Suspiria" back in the day.
Man, I dunno, the strings might have been a preset on the D5, I remember digging on some addiditive thing called "Warm Strings." Hm, maybe I should dig that old fella out and plug him back in... well, once I can actually walk over and pick him up that is...

also, just noticed that I spelled "additive" as "addiditive." I blame painkillers.

omg, YEAH D5! I used to have one of em. Loved that thing dearly.
this would be a good soundtrack for a Jean Claude Van Damme chase sequence in Singapore where the dude eludes him and he is left empty handed.
Poor Jean Claude! Next time buddy!

This is awesome.
And, between this and a few other recent releases, I think we've got Jean Claude's next movie's soundtrack just about ready. Somebody should let him know.
