i played all the instruments on this cut(rhodes, bass, guitar, flute, clarinet, microkorg, am radio, and malstrom) the drums started as a break off of the Illy B Eats drum break vinyl. (Billy Martin from medeski martin & wood) Believe it or not, its mad lo-fi on purpose. i wanted it to sound old. It never repeats, and is rather epic if you ask me. its not the most recent of my work, but i wanted to share it with this community because i feel like you guys can appreciate more so than anyone who has ever heard it. thanks for listening

pretty lights. nice name! howdy and love the groove. real smooth.
the percussion is nicer the further in you go. at first i heard a typical breakbeat, but only for a second.
Great production all the way through. BIG open space. can't say enough good.!!!

this is funky in an authentic sort of way.
you did well in achieving a pleasing old sound.
only recomendation is it could be just a little bit louder. maybe a little bit more high freqs. but thats just nitpicking.
really great to hear, thanks for sharing.

I concur, really excellent work.
The song is fairly quiet. But that's not a bad thing. And it's hugely preferable to an over compressed mastering.

oh my god dude. you have alot of real good stuff happening here!
the evolution of the groove in this track is superb! I hope you are looking to release an album where we can buy it! I am sure people would buy this.
This is also great incedental muse. Almost pulpy. Bravo!
loved your quixit the other day too!

WOW, Fantastic job! Love the bass. Everything is mixed so perfectly, amazing. The radio in the beginning was an excellent idea for an intro.
