james said: "i started friday afternoon as soon as i got home, but i kept running into problems with ardour. particularly the amount of regions i end up with when on a major chopping operation (thousands) and the limited ram i have in this laptop. after about three songs that all ended up overwhelming me, my system, and themselves, i decided to just sit down to a nice live jam with a break, a 303 emulator (nekobee) and a magician"

nice monosynth sound. nekobee?

i like how it goes from strait up ev sound to a more spaced out ambiance

ya check the screenshot it' fun, i have no midi controllers or anything tho :O haha, this song is a couple of patterns (u can see them in the screenshot) looped... lots. weird. i think i was high.

ya i think tomorrow i'm gonna take the ending of this song and make it into the beginning of itself. again. or something.

maybe i'll just reverse it.

maybe, tomorrow

nice work ev. i love yer sounds. familiar cadence/groove but fascinating direction or feeling.

compelling dude. i just let this play like 3 times in my vlc and It totally sat well! when you pull up the filters and distro was validating.

thx very, very much luna, utofbu... as simple as the parts were, i just wanted to let them continue in their own way and am glad u two liked ^_^ i found the strange arp strings very compelling as well. which is why i plan on tonight taking this song and flipping it upside down. use the strings to start the song and then perhaps break that beat into a thousand pieces if i can get away with it. if not, than it's another one for the trash heap (which is filling up quickly).

diggity dope. can't wait to hear the break in a thousand pieces.
i had a great time using your samples in the quixit last week > can't wait to do it again.

ths prettylights, i haven't seen u in #em411 since i passed out thursday so i haven't been able to tell u how badass ur track was. it was pretty badass.

prettylights: further breaking, it's in pieces tho. maybe tomorrow i'll pick them up: link

This is AWESOME. Totally squeaky and the rhythms are really surprising and fun. It's atonal in a very fun sort of way, which I didn't know was possible.
