i was on a nostalgia trip earlier.
i dug out some of me auld choons.
ive got two weeks off work and im trying to write some tracks,
but i cant anything going, so im wallowing in my old stuff.
i made this back in 2003.
i had bought this really cool old cheapo Hammond Organ for £40 in a market in Dundee.
the stall owner had one arm!
he had a prosthetic limb which was rubber and stained with nicotine.
the organ rocked in a nasty way, but i had to leave it when i left the city.
anyways...this track is from a period when i lived in a damp wee flat and was washing dishes for fuck all money.
i used to make stuff using the name "The Dub Merchants" they were like a fantasy band that lived in my head.
it features a lot of Organ and rock guitar!
and a wee bit of melodica, and a bit of chanting.
its a mess really.

well the doors were my favourite band when i was a teenager so im happy with that comparison.
and i was listening to a lot of Can back then as well.
man...fuck electronica...time to dust off that old geetar.

fora: i made an album worth of stuff based around this setup. organ, guitar, 4track, noise vibe.
although this was the most Rock based one. the others tunes were more trippy.
