ello, ello.
um, i've been in-between lives (well houses / offices anyway) for quite a while now - not massively conducive to being productive on the music front. just about up and running with some sort of studio down here and rebuilt my DAW - yay! in the process, i found an oldish tune i made and i thouhgt i would bang it on here and see what you think.
this is the first thing that came out when i bought my roland v-drums...ok, so, it's a bit older than i thought, as i've had them a while now...
mix is a bit ropey i think but i enjoyed listening to it again, hope you enjoy it too.

great song. ignore atum comment. simple, yet effective and subtle percussion. love it! cheers!
atum. is that overtly racist? for morans, that means did you do it on purpose.
i like this song. it has so little to do with nelson mandela and nothig to do with amaerica's next top model.
i dig the vibe.

Nice vibe (I just noticed that tunalicker used the same word. Eerie), felt like you could have taken it in lots of directions but stuck to driving home the feeling of the piece.

It's always great to hear a new sAMski song, even if it's actually an old sAMski song.
I really like the serenity of this piece. It's got a gentle build up that really works.

thanks for your kind words! I know this track doesn't go anywhere much but I am glad to hear that people like
tantan: i've never heard of o'yuki conjugate before...checking them out.
nick: glad you enjoyed it dude. waiting for your album!! (sorry for not commenting yet on your latest). by the way...started something new with a musician down here (in birmingham) last night - only been here 4 weeks or so, so all good! improv goodness. we got together for the first time, got setup and then basically did a 30 minute set i'd be more than happy to play out. WICKED. So, next time I will record it and there will be some new sAMsKi for you - hehe. Well, i guess it will be new whatever we call ourselves.
bigs ups all round...really appreciate your input...
(including atum..........feel the love dude)...)

ahhh, good good
perhaps would have broken up that sustained melody a bit more earlier on than you do - or added some harmonies. Yeah, harmonies more - in combination with changing the melody, as you have.
As someone else already mentioned, I also like the combination of sounds..oops ends a bit soon
