dig the beats, good sounds. The ambient musics are pleasant, but don't add much; to punch it up I'd suggest adding some staccato music hits, a pointed sound or two that deliver melodic hooks on the beats--kinda like what you did with song1?

best software for cutting beats is maxmsp but it is not for the faint of heart. if you are advanced enough with software i would suggest supercollider. there is also a an alright vst plugin called LIVECUT it emulates some of the warp cuts in supercollider. Pros maxmsp is easy, and supercollider is free. Cons supercollider is hard to learn and maxmsp is expensive as shit.
