--> I made this track a few weeks ago after putting my back out again and basically all I could do was sit in front of the computer. i was in a lot of pain so i decided to make something to cheer myself up. i was wrapped up in a nice truss at the time, hence the title.

any comments on the composition or the mix would be helpful. i was aiming for warm and fuzzy.

Sweetness Ivan.. love the drum programming, it really gives this track an awkward and unstable feel. the p-funk type lead is a nice addition too.
The mix is tight, the bassline compliments and doesn't overwhelm the mix. there's this fuzzy sound panned to the left of the mix that could do with some slight variation with the distortion as i feel its slightly static perhaps. but I think this track has the warmth you were seeking overall.

I know you like you mixes to be quite dry but I feel a touch of reverb might expand the sonic stage slightly, but I don't mean applying the reverb globally (Mike Paradinas style!) but some localization would be nice.

Thanks Jamie! Yeah that sound is a bit repetitive, I'll try and do something with it. There is quite a bit of verb on this, but not so noticeable. I used a close reverb and a bigger room style one to try and give it some depth. I might up the dose on the strings a bit. my back is much better now, thanks to the not-so-tender ministrations of the chiropractor.

btw - I'll have the ackers for you by the end of the month ;)

man i you have some great sounds in here.
good title too, and picture

i dont like that sound off to the right, acting as a snare....its too loud for me, and busy.
the kick drum sounds great, love all the little variations on it. but it too seems so busy.

great details!

put a section in there that has some more space, i like that slight pause at around 2:09....i'd say let that breathe some more

i would add a second sound tho the snare to add a bit of movement as the song goes

the synth is perfect.
i like the mix.

the snare patterns are a bit fussy for my tastes though.
