--> This is a remix I'm doing for the Brooklyn band Locksley: link

One of my oldest friends plays the drums with them, so it's been fun to finally collaborate in some fashion with dude once again.

It's very much not done yet, just got the framework started right now. I'll probably stick roughly to the form of the original, which would follow the final chorus with another verse and chorus. Then maybe a coda of some type at the end. The original is sort of beatles-inspired rock and roll, and this remix is turning into some kind of weird shoegaze club track or something.

Crit please! Thanks!

Oh one other thing - the vocals in the verse don't feel quite right to me - i spent a couple hours scooting and chopping and scooting and chopping but everytime i finish and it sounds good, i listen back and it sounds off again. :-/

Great start! I'd like to hear more low frequency extension to the bass kick. All of the instruments are so up front, I think it would be worth experimenting with reverb on the vocal tracks. It might sound sweet to have them occupying a totally different space than everything else.

Damn you, this sounds identical to the one you did for me. I'm on to your scam mr. schoster...

(I think the player's playing the wrong track? at least for me it is)

for reals? weird - here's the link: link

rattle it ! this is smokin' my friend. i can't wait to hear a more complete vers.

reverb on vocals might sound nice...but it's good as it is now coming together. give me some instrumental breakdown .

ok... seems to be working now.

Great track!! Love that synth in the second part of the song.
