This is a new live set for the gigs I got coming up.
Its mostly made of Reason, Cubase and old synths. Some
was written on the train, at chez family Eyes and at Quip hq.
Its still a bit rough round the edges. Transitions are not my
strong point.
feedback is required cos thems gigs are coming up fast.

yeah, good stuff dude. I listened to a fair bit during work today. Made me want to dance. Any rough edges didn't really bother me and definately wouldn't live. what is your performance on stage during this? great basis.

well i got a novation sl controller. so i can control all the effects, mute individual parts and levels and i play some of the synth lines "live" or improvise alot. but thats pretty boring to look at. i move very little so the performance is pretty non existant.
i wish i could play my guitar over the tracks or something, but its not that easy as the way i have it set up requires me to press a button like every 8 bars or something. doh.
when i do a live set with guitar. its alot slower and droney and easier to go to the computer and change things.
i guess this is more like djing parts really and kind of playing with the structures and creating the builds and drops on the fly.
i would like a footpedal maybe to control live and let me play over the top and record loops in thats the ultimate goal really.
also some of the gigs i am gonna do my mate will be doing visuals. which will take the focus off me.
but thats kind of a get out clause.

I haven't listened to much yet because my internet keeps dying on me, but what I've heard sounds like it'd be great live.
Will have a proper listen as soon as I can get it streaming properly.

As a recording, this is rough around the edges. But in the live venue context of shitty speakers and abysmal acoustics, this will work as well as anything.
I'm enjoying the music anyway. The transitions don't bother me at all.

great stuff.
i recognise that part with the whistling.
i really like that tune. euphoric sounding.
the transitions sound alright to me.
maybe you could improvise some MCing to cover up the mistakes. ;)

coolio quip. love it.
as kidq mentioned. don't worry about the transistions. they are fine. and noboys is expecting perfect blends.
i for example don't care if i can spot some track-transisitions

yo quip. having listened to it all now, I think it will be great! as people have said no worries about the transitions...my main worry would be the performance but I know how hard this is...also, I think you can get away with it ok with a set like this...as it's more to dance to than to watch as such...big up!

thanks for the constructive criticism. much appreciated.
i suffer for pre-gig stress disorder to the point of having nightmares .
so this really helps.
