nice tune, got a good dance vibe & has enough change-ups to keep it interesting.

I really love the composition. It captivated me the whole way through.

I really dislike the production though. Just because you're making 8 bit chiptunes doesn't mean you have to sacrifice all sense of depth. Tracks haphazardly run into each other. I suggest deciding which ones you want merged and which ones you want separated. You could record some of them playing from a speaker in a room with appropriate reflections. I little EQ and reverb can do a lot too.

okay, that sounds right, i've been focusing on using the hardware with as much purity as possible, you know, total mono, no effects, recorded in one pass, etc. i have older chiptunes where i do mess with panning and that stuff, but i've been trying to see how i can push the hardware within the bounds of its limitations. i'd love to try some of the stuff you're talking about, probably after this next ep is finished. you seem to really know microphone stuff so maybe you can give me some tips when i start playing around with room recording and the like. thanks for your album too

By all means, send me a message any time you want discuss such things! And you're very welcome about the album.
