this song is hopelessly complex and huge, I can't help myself. I rewrote it two or three times, as there were some magic ingredients that I just couldn't let go. I like the production a lot, but it does a weird thing in that it starts to crescendo a bit, but then really strips down to its bare essentials during the last couple minutes. Bit different from my usual pattern. | |

Sounds good....Actually, doesn't sound super over complex - everything is mixed in the right proportion
I would even say it should build even more before you strip things down - and the contrast should be dramatic...such as dropping out the beat completely and letting the boops take over

i like the rhythmic patterns and the melody. (especially how it comes in)
like roshi, i don't think it feels like uber complex.
the bass/deep pad sounded a little off to me. maybe it's just taking to much space in the lower mids.
i like the early electronica-feel of this.

this is my fave tantan track so far... maybe cuz of the industrial feel to the beats is a happy reminder of days of yore... but filtered through the window of experience.
love the melodic buildup.
Although the buildup stops building up... i wanted it to get bigger... like add a reverb Send, or extra delay, or some big ass fuzz on the bass. or all three.
there's a tiny delay buildup at the end, that could be bigger. And sample that delay loop and use it at the very start. Then U R RAD.

yghartsyrt & rosh, glad it doesn't sound over stuffed. It's funny, usuall the stuff I think is all austere others thing is overdone, and the stuff that seems too huge to me sounds okay or even not huge enough to everyone else!
