--> using some sine waves and some key assignments, and a good bit of luck. I feel like I "tamed" this song or maybe "enabled" rather than composed it, but it isn't generative. It might be better if you just woke up, or you are just going to bed after reading about astronomy.

very nice minimal, at first i was wanting a pad but then when the complexities come in it sortof resolves/does that job, very nice

I like the thought of you "enabling" this song...
quite nice.

imo, I'd try adding a sine-wave kick drum... something very sine-ey with some pitch drop.
And I'd think about replacing that hi hat sound with something more pure... again, another sine wave, very high pitched, maybe with some very fast pitch mod LFO. The clanky samples seem to fit better than the hi hat sound to my ears, for some reason.... but I do wish that hat was more sin wavey for some reason.

hehe yeah I assigned a bunch of keys on my qwerty and improvised it, then edited some stuff out.

good suggestions, thanks, I will listen to it again and think about the hi-hat. I'm pretty sure it is an SK-1 sample. analog drums would give the whole sound a more round, soft feeling maybe... thanks for the feedback!
