Alrighty, we need your help with this one: Andrew hates it (or is embarrassed by it) and I love it (maybe because the guitar came out sounding so delicious). Its received mixed reception too, my brother says its kraut rock ish like La Düsseldorf and doesn't mind the rawness of it.

So I'd be interested to hear what you think (before andrew sees this and pulls it down

i like it too. but it kind of reminds me 90's flaming lips type stuff though a bit more cinematic. i'm not 100% sure on the part where the beat changes though. it gets a little too fruity or something there for my tastes but i like dark music. the guitar part at the end is a little too un-subtle jan hammer miami vice style for me.

i'd move the guitars to the background more and stick some kind of envelope follower filter or something on some of them. my nature is to make everything more processed adn electronic though so to each his own.

those drum sounds feel very drum-machine preset to me. The bass drum has too much low end, it's too loud. The snare in the latter half could use a bit more punch.

the harmonies are really nice, though. wafting waves of sound passing through the b/g. Gets a nice BoC feeling toward the end there.

decent track overall. maybe a bit long.

Pornographic/miami vice genius.

I would chop off the bass notes to make the bassline lock more into the drums.

Mixwise, almost all sounds are overwhelming. I would definitely lowcut the kick, move the synths and guitars to the back and let the bassline take center stage and work on some eq separation. But I'm weak that way.

I agree with crabster...mixing around the bassline would tighten this up a lot.

We'll work on the mix more next time, also the copy pasted too much..
