--> Did it in two days.

Here are some issues with it thus far: no transitions between sections, the mix of the drums ain't right, the electric piano is going to be a grand piano, the effects on the bassline may be too much.

For the style of the drums on this track, how do people go about mixing them? What is your approach or suggestions? And for anyone who uses both Ableton and Logic, what's your process like?

This track is sounding a little dry for my taste, perhaps a little rigid. I reakon some more reverb would help.. (But I'm a sucker for reverb!)
How about recording this track through an external stereo mic, placing the mic far away from the monitors thus recording more of the ambience of the room (assuming the room isn't acoustically treated!)
and then mixing the recording back into your original track. This would help to add a sense of liveness. (obviously mix and eq to taste.)

Also I think some slow pounding drums might work better, think early 'Swans', the album 'Cop' is a good reference point.

I hadn't heard of this band. thanks for suggesting them and yeah, I'll have to try micing my monitors. I'm surprised I haven't bothered with that.

i do happen to like dry, I admit.
