Roshi - World is as Small as You Make It
Release

--> New drone experiment. No cello in this one (yet). Mostly live grain freezing combined with reversed reverbed guitar and lots of distortion plugins.

Work in progress. Comments on mix and structure appreciated. I think it needs more anticipation from section to section.

roshi this is lovely. perhaps a timbre change to signal the sections (not required just an idea).

plz to put main drone on a send/return and add vocoder, with a slow build, playing that meldodic line that comes in before the 2min mark, an octave up, and quiet.

this is awesome, I love it when the whole thing shifts.... i wish the drums shifted when the drone shifts, tho. maybe got more rhtyhmicish?

super lush! it queued right into the fart-track, caught me off guard with a giggle

good suggestions p...I'll definitely think about it either via noise or varying distortion style.

marginally bad suggestion by mlbot because it will require me to rewire my setup (because I'm lazee)...but I will try.

also, points to whomever knows where I shot the foto

I know it's one of these lol:

Close, but close only counts in horseshoes and bukkake

Hey, I'm doing good just to find that from Tennessee,

but I'll say tacoma
actually: link

but close.

Also: is it more rhythmicish or more rhythmical?

I can't decide which neologism sounds better

You shot it out of a car window moving up Denny ave.

Ding Ding Ding!

one of the strangest pieces of music I've heard in quite a while, in a good way.

Sucks.

I mean, literally, there's a sound in there like sucking a breath.

awesome like all of your drones, kinda weirder timbres than I'm used to from you w/ less melodicky stuff
