I hit record during a little headphones session. I like it, 'tis likeable.

the mix sure needs some juicing though. no matter.

love all the atonal bleeps and bzirps. I would be curious to see what would happen if you took that untonal bleep and just had it drift relatively upwards in pitch over the course of the whole song. Say, tranpose it +1 semitone every bar?? Just curious

The backing-up truck sound reminds me of Planet Claire.

nice track!

diggin this one! really groovy head nodder. nicely done. great progression too.

thanks doods, glad ya dig!

mlbot - that would be tricky but I'm sure I could do it. that bleep is a little gated s&h thingy. I'm sure I could rig up a little clock-controlled pitch shifter/counter...

Sweet.

Why isn't more electronic music this interesting?

Also, you could just record the bleep to a track and pitch transpose it

yeaa i thought this was awesome.

hell ya, this is a nice one, doof

thanks very much guys

Roshi - the thing is, there aren't any individual tracks to remove/replace since I recorded this as it happened to a stereo .wav file. the bleep and everything else is synthesized, so it wouldn't be like dropping another loop in. not that playing with the pitch of that thingy couldn't be done, just that it would have to be a little something I wire in, then jam out the tune again. which is likely to happen, given the pleasure I'm getting out of this little bugger.

Well done doofgoblin. I don't find the mix at all problematic.

Actually, all of your releases sound sweet.

almost sounds like an electronic version of pharoah's dance to me

also: look at this very inappropriate yet awesome use of pharoah's dance

gracias, senor nick.

astroid - whoa, thanks for that! I wasn't familiar with the tune, but that's pretty cool. good ear man!

doof, the whole miles davis bitches brew album would be right up your alley. classic stuff. i'd also suggest in a silent way, les filles de killimanjaro, on the corner...
