I'm not so hot on the drums, but I lurve the textures!
I have a problem integrating drums w/ distorted textures as well, though...maybe some ride or crash hits thrown in would integrate it a little more? i think that its just the drums are so sharp sounding tone wise.
pickles and penut butter This is really excellent dude. I agree the drums feel like they float above the mix rather than mixing well with the overall, just in terms of timbre. I love the guitar/synth stuff tho. The rhythm of the guitar is really nice as well. Dopeness!
