--> The first half of this song was part of my recent live set. Probably my favorite part of the set, actually, so I decided I needed to flesh it out into a full song. The transition in the middle from the drill n' bass-y section into the psychedelic delay freakout still doesn't feel quite right....I think something else needs to trail off there, so the switch isn't so abrupt. But I love the switch from manic drumming to a half-time feel. And I love abusing the Unwieldy Delay plugin.

I gave it this title because I've been reading a lot of apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic literature lately. Not exactly sure why....

Other than that, I hope you guys like it. Any feedback (pun intended)?

Very nice!

I think I might keep a more constant ride or hihat going in the transition - so the drums don't seem so choppy - and then maybe drop that out.

There's a pedal hihat in there, but it's sort of getting lost. maybe it should be one 1,2,3,4 instead of just 2 and 4.

Yeah, it should be more constant, I think

makes me happy
