--> So it's been about two months since I worked on music outside of messing around a bit with ChucK during downtime at work, and tonight my friend asked me if I'd like to remix his (quite quite excellent) band. Five hours later, I'm almost done with it I think. Musical catharsis! I didn't realize how pent up my musical energy was until I took a crack at this thing. Anyway, here is a 92% finished mix. The band is called "Volcano!" and is def worth checking out if you haven't! Music video for the original is here:

They're one of my favorite bands ever, and this felt really excellent to pour out tonight.

Crits encouraged! I'm going to try to finish it up over the weekend I think.

i think this needs to be listened to loud, lol. which is probably a product of my mediocre mixing, just noticed it doesn't sound that great at a medium volume. (beware the following track on the em411 player tho or you might blow your eardrums...)

All of those big drums sound sweet, even at a medium volume. I agree, your mix is 92% there, which is to say that it's already very enjoyable to hear.
